After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, we are thrilled to announce the return of the Kick-Off to Summer Celebration! We hope you will join us in the ballroom on Friday, June 24, 2022 as we "Kick-Off Summer” at the Kilburn Mill overlooking Clark's Cove in New Bedford, MA. 

The beloved Summer Celebration is a unique and exciting event that will help raise crucial funds benefiting the Saint Vincent's Young Parent Living Program.  New to Saint Vincent's, the Young Parent Living Program is a residential living program designed to support teenage mothers and their newborn children. These young mothers, many of whom come from difficult backgrounds, lack the knowledge, tools, and support needed to care for their children. Our staff will provide education and guidance to young mothers in the form of basic parenting skills and life skills while providing stability to the young mother and her child/children. 

This fun-filled evening features cocktails and dining, our unique live and silent auctions, the Carlin Lynch Humanitarian Award and will end with our guests dancing the night away with Massive Groove Band! As we return to Summer Celebration, Saint Vincent's is committed to event safety and is following all CDC, local and organizational guidelines.

Donating at the close of 2021.

As 2021 comes to a close, we know many of you are contemplating your year-end giving and will look to make the most of your charitable dollars.  Fortunately, the United States tax codes allow for generous giving. 

Cash is still the most popular way to make a charitable gift and provides important benefits. If you itemize your deductions in 2021, you can elect to deduct cash contributions up to 100 percent of your AGI (formerly 60 percent prior to the passage of the CARES Act in 2020).

The CARES Act also includes a charitable giving incentive providing non-itemizers with an “above the line” deduction of $300 and extended in 2021 to $600 for those married and filing jointly, making it easier to support your favorite causes. This applies to cash contributions made in 2021 and can be claimed on 2021 Form 1040. 

There are a number of other ways you can support Saint Vincent’s Services.  If you are interested in learning about donating stocks, bonds, or real estate please reach out to the Saint Vincent’s Services Development Office.

2021 Memorial Tree Lighting

“We should be shining lamps giving light to all around us.” Catherine McAuley, RSM, Foundress of Sister’s of Mercy

On Sunday, December 5, 2021 we will host a Virtual Memorial Tree Lighting inside the Saint Vincent’s Chapel. Our tree will glow with lights representing the name and memory of loved ones. In addition, each name will be added to our Memorial Book that will be remembered and prayed for during each liturgy offered at Saint Vincent's Chapel.

Due to COVID-19 we will host this annual event virtually and will LIVE stream the Blessing and Lighting of the Tree on Saint Vincent’s Facebook page

Honor the memory of a loved one by sponsoring a light on the 2021 Memorial Tree for $10.00 each. All proceeds go directly to support programs that benefit the children, youth and families served by Saint Vincent’s.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control, the Saint Vincent's Adult Scavenger Hunt must be postponed. Information about the new date, time, and location will be available soon!

Scavenger Hunt Rules:

  • 21+ event
  • Individuals and teams are welcomed to join! Teams can have not more than 4 team members.
  • All teams must download the designated Scavenger Hunt app during Check-In.
  • Teams will submit photos and activity information via the designed app.
  • Team have until 4:00pm (the day of the hunt) to complete as many tasks as possible. Points will be counted at 4pm and the team scoring the most number of points in the shortest amount of time will be designated as the 2021 Scavenger Hunt Champion(s)!

How to have FUN:

  • Decide on a team name and get creative with your t-shirts and/or team uniform!
  • Decorate your team vehicle - you never know if additional points will be given to teams who go the extra mile!

Tickets are now available for the Saint Vincent’s Services 16th Annual Motorcycle Run and Raffle on Sunday, August 15th, 2021. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Vincent's Services at 2425 Highland Avenue in Fall River. Every ticket purchased helps support children in need and the many programs and services available through Saint Vincent's.

New this year our Motorcycle Run will end at the Fall River Elks Club on North Main Street where riders, passengers, and friends are invited to join us for lunch and raffles!

Do ride a motorcycle and enjoy the open road? Do you love the feeling of the sun on your shoulders, the wind in your face, AND the feeling of knowing that you are helping children in need? Join us for our 16th Annual Motorcycle Run & Raffle and you can enjoy all of that and more!

Tickets for the Motorcycle Run & Raffle will be available the morning of the Run.

Riders: $20 ($25 day of the Run) Veterans: $15 Passengers $10 ($15 day of the Run)

We are anticipating another terrific bike run this year with over 175 motorcycles and 300 guests, making this bike run one of the largest in the area. This relaxed 45-mile bike run travels through the scenic back roads of Fall River, Assonet, Berkley, Lakeville, and features wide open country roads and breathtaking lake views.

Guests are also encouraged to participate in our Bike Run Raffle for amazing prizes donated by area businesses that include beer, wine, gift baskets, sports memorabilia, gift certificates, and much more.
